Studio clay, Glazing, Kiln Firing and Tool Usage Included in the Price. Class overview: (Small 7 person class) Discover the joy of creating with clay in this 6 week Beginner (All-Levels-friendly) wheel throwing course with Christina. This class is great for first timers as well as students who have already taken a beginner class before. We will be starting from the very beginning to master the fundamental processes, including: wedging, centering, throwing cylinders (and other forms), trimming, and glazing. There's absolutely no pressure to have any experience or have it all figured out. Come to class with an open mind and we will work through your goals together to make some beautiful, unique pieces! 60-21 Myrtle Ave | Ridgewood, Queens Saturday Morning 11:00am-1:30pm 5/30-7/11 Skips July 4th *Students can expect to finish around 5 pieces by the end of the course, with a maximum of 8 pieces to take home. Please remember that these classes are designed for learning and exploration—not high-volume production. We encourage a focus on skill-building and creative growth.
