2 Day Ceramic Sculpture Workshop!

Course Description

Come play with clay and make hand-built Ceramic Sculptures! This is a relaxed, social workshop—perfect for beginners or people who have experience in ceramics. All materials are provided. 2 Wednesday evening sessions, two hours each of sculpture making at Myrtle’s Clayhouse. Create handmade sculptures that’s all you. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of building animals, creatures, or anything you think of - from start to finish. We’ll start with a quick intro to clay and handbuilding techniques, then you’ll learn how to: • Shape your sculptures using simple, approachable methods (no experience needed!) • Attach decorations • Add surface details, texture, or carving to make it uniquely yours You’ll choose your glaze color from our studio palette, and our team will handle the firing and glazing after class. Your finished sculptures will be ready and available for pickup in about 2-3 weeks.
