Valentines Evening Couples Workshop!

Course Description

Come play with clay on Valentines Day! This is a relaxed, social workshop for Couples is perfect for beginners or people who have experience in ceramics. All materials are provided. (BYOB - White wine or Sparkling only) Settle in for two hours of couples clay time at Myrtle’s Clayhouse and create handmade ceramics like mugs, bowls, vases, pipes or other forms. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of building a functional ceramic object from start to finish. We’ll start with a quick intro to clay and handbuilding techniques, then you’ll learn how to: • Shape your form using simple, approachable methods (no experience needed!) • Attach decorations • Add surface details, texture, or carving to make it uniquely yours You’ll choose your glaze color from our studio palette, and our team will handle the firing and glazing after class. Your finished vase or mug will be ready for everyday use, typically available for pickup in about 2-3 weeks. 2/14 from 6-8pm Cancelations before 2/9 to be considered for a refund.
