Creative Vase & Mug Making Workshop!

Course Description

Come play with clay and make something ! This is a relaxed, social workshop—perfect for a solo creative night, a date, or a small group of friends getting into the fall holiday spirit. All materials are provided. Settle in for two cozy hours of clay time at Myrtle’s Clayhouse and create a handmade vase or mug that’s all you. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of building a functional ceramic mug from start to finish. We’ll start with a quick intro to clay and handbuilding techniques, then you’ll learn how to: • Shape your vase or mug using simple, approachable methods (no experience needed!) • Attach a comfortable, sturdy handle or decorations • Add surface details, texture, or carving to make it uniquely yours You’ll choose your glaze color from our studio palette, and our team will handle the firing and glazing after class. Your finished vase or mug will be ready for everyday use, typically available for pickup in about 2-3 weeks. Cancelations before 12/6 to be considered for a refund.
