Studio clay, Glazing, Kiln Firing and Tool Usage Included in the Price. Class overview: This 6-week session will be all about the basics of wheel throwing. This class is great for first timers as well as students who have already taken a beginner class before. We will be starting from the very beginning to master the fundamental processes, including: wedging, centering, throwing cylinders (and other forms), trimming, and glazing. There's absolutely no pressure to have any experience or have it all figured out. Come to class with an open mind and we will work through your goals together to make some beautiful, unique pieces! 60-21 Myrtle Ave, Ridgewood, Queens Sunday mornings 10:30am-1pm 11/2-12/14 (Skips 11/30 for Thanksgiving Weekend) *Students can expect to finish around 5 pieces by the end of the course, with a maximum of 8 pieces to take home.
